Provides abstracts of studies on carcinogenicity, immunotoxicity, teratology and short-term reproductive developmental toxicity for hundreds of pesticides and industrial chemicals. Provides full report on carcinogens and lists effects of specific pesticides. Links to Center for the Evaluation of Risks to Human Reproduction and the Chemical Health and Safety database (which is searchable by chemical).

*Semi-annual Report Summarizing the Reevaluation Status of Pesticide Products During the Period of July 1, 1998 through December 31, 1998* California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR). Includes form reevaluations which are undertaken when a pesticide has had an adverse impact or is likely to, and preliminary investigations which are done when DPR receives possible adverse, factual or scientific information on a product not yet evaluated. *Rethinking Agriculture, Two-Part Public Forum, April 29 and May 6, 1999, San Francisco, CA* Public participatory event. Part-one will address global and macroeconomic issues, agricultural biotechnology and the movement against it in Europe and Asia. Part-two will examine solutions to current agricultural problems looking at relocalization of food supply, agrarian renewal in rural and urban areas and democratic resolution of natural resource allocation conflicts. $16 by mail for both evenings, or $10 each night at the door.
