Affiliates

Pesticide Action Network North America (PANNA) works with a broad network of affiliated organizations. In fact, PANNA is one of five regional centers throughout the world that facilitate the work of Pesticide Action Network (PAN) International. This global coalition involves nearly 1,000 organizations in more than 60 countries working to reduce pesticide use and promote ecologically sound, socially just alternatives. PAN participants everywhere know that citizen action is essential to halt global proliferation of pesticides and ensure a transition to healthy, ecologically sound and socially just practices in place of pesticide use.

How to affiliate with PANNA

PANNA invites non-profit organizations in Canada, Mexico and the UnitedStates that share our commitment to cooperation and advocacy in service of pesticide reform to become PANNA affiliates. PANNA affiliate groups work in many sectors, including:

• environmental advocacy
• worker safety and human rights
• anti-hunger and food security
• alternative pest management
• organic and sustainable agriculture
• international trade and development
• government accountability
• corporate responsibility

 

Benefits of PANNA Affiliation

• Membership in PANPAL, the PANNA affiliates email discussion list. Receive PANNA action alerts and updates, post your own organization's announcements, and bounce ideas off other affiliate organizations.
• Complimentary subscription to the PAN North America Magazine, our new trimesterly magazine. Full of interviews, news items and in depth features, this magazine is aimed at chronicling progress toward pesticide reform and just, sustainable food systems, particularly in North America.
• Free copies of PANNA reports and a 10% affiliate discount on other publications.
• Free technical advice from PANNA's Internet Developer.
• An official institutional link with PAN International, one of the world's most effective and creative networks for environmental justice and social change!

Affiliating is Easy

If your non-profit, voluntary or community organization would like to affiliate with PANNA, just follow these simple steps:

 

1. Download and review the PAN Affiliation Policy.
2. Request a PANNA Affiliation application form.
3. Send in the completed form together with your affiliation fee. PANNA's annual affiliation fees start at just $35 annualy, depending on the size of your organization.
4. Provide PANNA with a hardcopy of your most recent annual report, publications list, organizational brochure and/or newsletter for our files.
