CA May Approve Controversial Pesticide

The State of California is one step closer to using a known carcinogen on strawberry fields. PAN's Susan Kegley, interviewed on CBS 5, states,"The real hazard is for the people who live and work next to the fields that are fumigated. Here's a chemical we know causes cancer. It's on the Proposition 65 list of carcinogens. And we're introducing it on purpose, with very few controls."
