LETTER: Science backs push against atrazine

Environmental Protection Agency scientists recently met in Washington, D.C., to review the latest studies linking the herbicide atrazine to human health harms.

They won’t meet again until early next year and, in the meanwhile, we will all be subject to a rather predictable PR push from the makers and defenders of atrazine. In particular, we will be asked to believe that this review of atrazine is “unusual” and “unnecessary.”
