Urge your state to step up for bees!

In 2016, Minnesota’s governor announced new rules to restrict the use of bee-harming pesticides. Now the state legislature is considering two new bills that would strengthen protections for pollinators.

These are some of the strongest policies to take on this pesticide problem nationwide.

Let’s build on Minnesota’s momentum! Urge your governor to take action for bees.

As of last year, no one in Minnesota can use bee-harming neonicotinoids (or "neonics") unless they can prove a dire need.

The two bills under consideration would strengthen protections for pollinators, provide support for farmers and allow the state to address the problem of neonic seed coatings.

A clear body of science has shown that neonics, alone and in combination with other pesticides, are a key factor in the dramatic pollinator die-offs we’ve been seeing.

Minnesota is following the science and taking meaningful action to protect pollinators. Tell your governor to do the same!
