*Pesticide Drift Conference: The Air We Share: Taking Action on Pesticide Drift* February 8, 2003, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Fresno State University, CA. Co-sponsored by the Political Science Department at California State University at Fresno and Californians for Pesticide Reform (CPR). More than 90% of the pesticides used in California have drift potential and can be carried away from the application site by wind and on airborne soil particles resulting in widespread toxic air pollution. Genetically Engineered Food Alert Coalition is offering free trainings to help mobilize grassroots action against genetically engineered foods and support our campaign calling on Kraft Foods, the largest food manufacturer in the U.S., to remove genetically engineered ingredients from its products.
