The biggest conflict of interest in food & farming

Next week, the UN’s Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) Governing Council will be meeting, and we’re calling on FAO leadership to end their indefinite agreement with pesticide industry group CropLife International. (Learn more about this partnership and why it’s so dangerous in the graphics below.)

Our collective pressure has been working. Earlier this year, we were able to secure a meeting with FAO Deputy Director General Beth Bechdol, and we’ve stopped the #ToxicAlliance from becoming a more formal partnership. But there’s still work to do. In this key moment, we’re submitting another letter to FAO (Spanish, French) and need your help amplifying our message.

Please join us for a Global Day of Action to Stop the #ToxicAlliance on Monday, December 5! We’re hoping to flood social media platforms with thousands of voices from around the world calling out this conflict of interest —find our toolkit with sample messages here.
