PAN believes in democratic science — scientific research that is decentralized, accessible, and actionable. We seek to connect communities to scientific information they can use to educate themselves and advocate for safe, healthy and just food and farming systems.

With teams of grassroots scientists, organizers, and communications experts, we empower communities with scientific knowledge, advocate for stronger pesticide regulations, and organize coalition and community action in furtherance of our mission to create food systems that are safe, healthy, and just.

PAN works strategically in coalitions of like-minded organizations and individuals to ensure our work is movement-aligned. We are active members of the Coming Clean Network, HEAL Food Alliance, National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition, among others and join ad-hoc coalitions when immediate needs arise.
