Emily joined PAN in the summer of 2016, upon completing her graduate studies in international environmental policy. She has experience working in nonprofit communications from time with the Ecological Farming Association and the Business Council on Climate Change, as well as a deep interest in ecological food and farming systems. Emily believes that creative communication tactics and storytelling are key to creating change in how people engage with the food system. She is passionate about seasonal, veggie-centric cooking and experiencing food culture from all over the world. At PAN, Emily supports the work of the communications team, driving strategy behind social media and blogging, developing content, and refining messaging for campaign work and online organizing. She speaks conversational Spanish.
