Mary is honored to join PAN’s exceptional Board and Staff to support their mission to achieve health, resilience, and justice in food and farming. Mary brings 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership; capacity-building; and management coaching/training. Over the past 16 years, she has served as an Interim Executive for 14 organizations from diverse sectors, including legal services, health and social services, education, the arts and the environment. Her most recent positions as the Interim Executive Director were at Grateful Heart Holistic Therapy Center, CLAM, and the Asian Pacific Institute for Gender-Based Violence. As an Interim leader, Mary provided the stability, flexibility and support for organizations to have time to reflect and prepare for their next E.D. She has an Executive MBA (St. Mary’s College of CA) and a Master’s in Expressive Arts Therapy (Lesley University). Her publications include Strategy Making for Non-Profit Organizations: A Model and Case Studies (Business Expert Press) and Listening and Engaging Responsibility (Beyond the Bottom Line: Integrating Sustainability into Business and Management Practice), both written with Dr. Jyoti Bachani.
