There are many ways to support Pesticide Action Network. Here are some creative options:

PAN Sustainers Circle

Join the PAN Sustainers Circle by making a monthly or quarterly pledge. Pledging provides a reliable source of funding that helps us plan ahead, reduces additional requests for support and saves resources. 

Bequests

You can create a lasting legacy by naming Pesticide Action Network North America in your will or trust. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, can create a stable financial future and provide long-term support of the movement for environmental health and justice. Find out more, below.

Tribute Gifts

Birthday, Earth Day, memorials, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, new baby, new job — any milestones. If it’s worth celebrating, it’s worth a tribute gift to PAN to help create the healthiest world to share and pass on. When you make the donation, we send a beautiful, eco-friendly card with a handwritten note reflecting the message you specify. Simple and elegant. You may indicate a tribute when you donate, or contact us first to discuss your tribute.

Workplace Giving

Find out how you can leverage your support of PAN through your employer's payroll deduction or matching programs. You can enroll through EarthShare, or start a new campaign at your workplace and earn more for PAN. Double your impact by asking your employer about a Matching Gift program! See details below.

Give Stock

Donating shares of stock can provide a lawful tax deduction. Contact or call our Development Department at 415-981-1771 for simple instructions on how and where to donate stock.

Donate Your Vehicle

Turn your old car, boat or truck into cash for Pesticide Action Network. Vehicle donations are hassle free and tax-deductible. PAN has partnered with The Vehicle Donation Processing Center to manage vehicle donations. This program allows PAN to benefit when you donate a car, truck, trailer, recreational vehicle, boat, etc., as well as lots and real estate. See below.

Make a Bequest

You may cite PAN as a beneficiary in your will, or as a recipient of a portion of your estate. When you make a bequest, you become part of PAN’s Safety Network, and we'll acknowledge your commitment with the gift of a specially selected book each year, beginning with the inspiring call to action: Living Downstream: An ecologists personal investigation of cancer and the environment, by Sandra Steingraber.

Your legacy gift, no matter the amount, will be invested in a socially responsible manner and placed in PAN's reserve fund to help us maintain consistency and effectiveness in lean times, respond to emergencies and exciting new opportunities. Our investment policy is available upon request.

Give at Your Workplace

Two ways to give at work:

  • Start an EarthShare payroll deduction campaign at your workplace (we'll help!), or donate to PAN through an existing EarthShare program. PAN's Combined Federal Campaign number is 11437.
  • Explore whether your employer offers a Matching Gift program — it can increase your impact by doubling (or more) your donations to PAN.

Donate Your Vehicle

The Vehicle Donation Processing Center takes your information by phone, handles all documents, arranges for pick up, sale and distribution of proceeds — split evenly between the Processing Center and PAN.

When you donate a vehicle you:

  • Qualify for a lawful IRS tax deduction,
  • Avoid DMV paperwork or smog hassles, and
  • Enjoy free pick-up on your schedule.

Avoid the headaches of selling a used car: no want ads, no phone calls, no showing the car repeatedly, no price haggling. With some restrictions, cars are accepted running or not.
