Christy Rodgers

Christy has been writing grants and managing institutional giving for grassroots nonprofit organizations since 2003, both as a freelancer and a staff member. She has lived on both coasts of the U.S. and overseas, spending five years working with Central American solidarity organizations, mostly in El Salvador, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. She is fluent in Spanish, with a functional knowledge of French and Portuguese, and holds a Master of Arts degree in Comparative and World Literature from San Francisco State University. She has published essays and stories in several print and online magazines and on her blog: What If? Tales, transformations, possibilities. She has lived with her husband in San Francisco since 1993.
